Epicol T

Sag-free 2-component epoxy repair paste for filling cracks and holes, even in wet and underwater conditions.

Product Description

2-component sag-free epoxy compound.

  • Component A : epoxy resin.
  • Component B : polyamine hardener.

All components are pre-weighted, resulting in an easy-to-mix system.

Mixing ratio A/B : 1/1.

Advantages

  • Good adhesion to wet surfaces, even for underwater application without the presence of high water pressure.
  • Very good mechanical properties.
  • Cures without shrinking.
  • Easy to mix and use.
  • Adhesion to wood, stone, and concrete; surpasses material cohesion.

Application

  1. Surface preparation
    • To obtain an optimum adhesion, the surface must be clean, degreased, and dust free. When applying to metal, first remove the milling surface or the oxidated skin.
  2. Mixing
    • The mixing ratio A/B is 1/1.
    • Thoroughly mix the premeasured quantities. The best method of mixing is kneading by hand while wearing suitable gloves . Use lukewarm water to facilitate easier mixing of the material.
    • Mix until a uniform grey color is obtained.
  3. Application
    • Pot life after mixing: 1 hour at 20°C.
    • Apply with a spatula, trowel, or by hand when wearing suitable rubber gloves.
    • Apply Epicol T directly to the surface, working the compound well into the crack or opening.
    • Application temperature must be between 5 °C and 35 °C.
  4. Cleaning
    • Clean all tools immediately with Washing Agent before the resin has cured. Hardened adhesive can only be removed by mechanical means. Carefully clean hands and skin with hot water and soap.

Appearance

A-component : white epoxy resin.
B-component : black polyamine hardener.
Mixture : grey paste

Consumption

Epicol T: 1,5 kg/m2 for 1 mm thickness.

Packaging

Epicol T (5,0 kg kit)
2,5 kg A-component.
